Chrysalis: Care
leavers Program

We created a digital program supporting adult care leavers with virtual training to help them thrive in society.

The project need

On average, 75% of adult care leavers face significant challenges after leaving care.

To improve long-term outcomes, we created
a 6-course digital support program that’s accessible anytime, anywhere.

The program is designed to
help participants:
 

  • Receive personalised 1-on-1 support

  • Follow guided progress through each stage

  • Access practical tools for reintegration into society

  • Engage with inspiring content that builds confidence and life skills

The Approach

The 6 step  program

Each module has a digital space, that
uses learning visuals & interactive
content.


Interactive content

The interactive modules are made up
of a mixture of presentations, exercises, activities, problem solving, thinking, planning, testing, quizzing, reviewing & discussions.

Support

1-2-1 support with mentors & community.

Connection to the community and key people to support each individual’s journey.

These could include coaches, mentors and the charity supporters that help them as they progress through the numerous stages.

Progress & reporting

For collaborative learning, groups and individuals can monitor their progress. Mentors can monitor activity too.

To review individuals’ journeys and acheivements, mentors can review progress reports.

To ensure long-term sustainability and
self-sufficiency, we not only developed the Chrysalis digital platform but also equipped their teams with the skills and tools needed to manage it confidently going forward.

Our approach included:
 

  • Designing and building a flexible digital platform tailored to the needs of adult care leavers and the Chrysalis program structure
     

  • Delivering practical, hands-on training sessions to upskill Chrysalis team members in using the platform effectively
     

  • Empowering teams to independently create, update, and manage course content, ensuring ongoing relevance and adaptability
     

  • Providing guidance on best practices for digital content management, user support, and long-term program scalability
