The project need
There are over 5.7 million unpaid carers in the UK, many of whom experience chronic stress, burnout, financial insecurity, and social isolation due to the relentless demands of caring for loved ones.
These carers often fall through the gaps in traditional service provision, with limited access to tailored support that recognises their emotional, practical, and mental health needs.

We planned a 3-month cycle of insights gathering, prototyping, and testing with the carer group to ensure everything we built truly met their needs.

Carer Love: The AI Wellness Advisor & Personalised Digital Platform
The digital platform and AI wellness advisor emerged as the solution that carers needed—accessible, supportive, and tailored to their daily reality.
It offers round-the-clock emotional support, personalised wellbeing content, and seamless signposting to local services—all in one place.
Development
Design, prototyping and APP development
The platform evolved through collaborative design, hands-on testing, and iterative development in Figma, guided every step of the way by carer feedback.
Each feature was shaped by real insights—tested, refined, and reimagined to ensure it truly worked for those it was built to support.
This wasn’t just about building a product; it was about co-creating a meaningful experience with carers at the centre.
Digital Platform Launch
Wellness partners onboarded
Once the digital platform was launched, wellness partners such as hotels, spas, therapists, and retreat providers could be onboarded to offer exclusive support and experiences for carers.
This creates a unique ecosystem where carers can access personalised wellbeing services, from digital self-care to real-world restorative experiences—rewarding carers with the care they deserve.
